Intricacies in Nature
German photographer Dietmut Teijgeman-Hansen captured an interesting picture of a leaf last week. Her photograph shows the foliage in a state of decay with reticulate veination still visible. It is a great look at the complex structure within the leaf itself. Rain from the ground and light from the sun combine in an amazing synthesis to support the life of a tree.
The closer you look the more complex things become.
There are so many examples of this type of intricacy in nature. The closer you look the more complex things become. It is true that we examine things to understand them better. But our close proximity to structures or ideas often reveal new levels of complexity. The more you know the more likely you are to ask question and expose further mystery.
