I wanted to share an exciting Summer update from our children’s ministry teams of the Northwest Ministry Network. We had three excellent camps including 1000’s of kids and 100’s of first time commitments to Christ. Our camp directors, Shawn Backus, Jeremy Scott, and Matt Welk did an excellent job leading their teams (we have awesome leaders). Kid’s Camp continue to serve our network as a excellent training ground for current and future pastors. Our internship program hosted nearly 30 high school students this summer; it was fun to see former summer camp interns serving in full-time ministry roles this year! We continue to innovate with our Kid Missionary Challenge who hosted missionaries Amy Dewitt and Doug & Tasha Myers. Our camps raised a record setting amount of more than $6,000 this year and learned how to pray, give, and go with our missionaries around the world.

Its an honor to serve with each of you and to see so many lives changed. Jesus is shaping the future of these kids and the future of the Church and I am glad to play a small part.
