Share Your Story

chapter1.png

I am struck with the importance of one's personal story. I just listened to a man share about his struggle in the light of a calling to ful time ministry. What he said challenged and encouraged me. His failure and success shed light on my own journey as I live out a call to serve the church. You have a story to tell and people need to hear it. But have you considered the plot of your life? Where have you come from and wehre are you going? I wonder if many people are capable of articulating their journey so far. Think about it? How did you get where you are today? What things have gone well? Can you name your failures? Being able to put the story of your life into words is hugely beneficial. You create a perspective on your own experiences and you encourage others in a way that is difficult to grasp.
