Next Generation Leader Andy Stanley is an established voice in the area of leadership and pastoral insight. He has made a habit of publishing insightful and inspiring books and Next Generation Leader is no exception. This book outlines several essential characteristics of leadership moving into the 21st century. It is based on the subjects of competence, courage, clarity, coaching, and character.

Stanley writes to his audience with purpose and is not afraid to offer pointed advice. His chosen subject, next generation leaders, is not targeted towards an age group but rather towards those wishing to exercise effective leadership in the emerging culture of today. He speaks powerfully towards business, focus, and mentorship. No time is wasted with superfluous text, each chapter is to the point and saturated with content and actionable ideas.

I would highly recommend reading this book. It is one of the best books on leadership I have ever read. I felt like many chapters were targeted towards me personally. My highlighter has not had to work so hard in months and I will definitely be referring to these chapters in years to come. It is a quick read and to the point, you should grab yourself a copy today.
