I want to share some thoughts about leadership, theology and Paul’s letter to the Ephesian church. Over these next few days I am going to post a series of thoughts about the topic. I will link each part above so you can track with me. I hope these ideas are encouraging to you as a Jesus follower.

Paul has expressed a clear doctrine of the Holy Spirit, Christ, unity and maturity through service. The book of Ephesians is not limited to these four topics but they emerge as the key elements of a theology of leadership. The passage found in Eph. 4.11 outlines the different leadership roles within the church. These roles are an ordained gift of Christ and received by grace.[1] Each one should be driven by the Spirit, centered on Christ, united as one body for the purpose of maturity.
